Artist Spotlight: Ashton Tekno

When Mark and I were planning the Elite Cover for Book 2, we were thinking it would be nice if we could pay tribute to Toronto, a city we love and where Mark is from. As an artist myself who spent years in the photo studio, I thought it was a cool idea when Mark came to me one day and said, "What about one of Ashton's photos of Toronto?" Mark has known Ashton for most of Ashton's life, our families are best friends. We were just over for a family visit when Ashton was updating us on all the amazingly cool things he had been up to and what he was doing with his photography. If there is one person who can "get the perfect shot," it's Ashton. With So-Called Living being in a world much like our own, well, except for the vampires, werewolves and zombies that is, it would be cool to have a realistic cityscape. Mark came up with a really cool idea to put our So-Called Living bunny as graffiti on the side of a building. 

Who is Ashton Tekno?

Ashton Tekno is a seasoned street and cityscape photographer whose work has been turning heads since 2012.
